PRIDE at HMS is an awesome place to be! We do amazing things in our class! Here are a few highlights!
We started a school store, called Cool Tools and cafe, called Cougar Cafe. We run each about once a month during lunch periods.
We hold quarterly luncheons for the teachers, staff and parents. For each of these, we plan the menu, shop for the food, prepare the food and serve the lunch. We also make and distribute an invitation.
We love using the money we earn from our store and luncheons to go out for community based instruction. Some of the places we've gone are the movies, a horse farm, and Brady's Run.
