Related ARTS
At Blackhawk Intermediate School Third and Fourth Grade students and at Highland Middle School Fifth Grade students participate in four related Arts classes. They are Physical Education, Music, Visual Art, and S.T.E.A.M.. Students have these classes once per a four day cycle for 40 minutes. In Related students are assessed with a Pass/Fail grading system.
Visual Art
I am Mrs. Murtha the art teacher at both Northwestern at BIS and Blackhawk Intermediate School. I teach students in grades Kindergarten through Fourth Grade at these buildings. I am very excited about this year and the projects we will be producing. I have enjoyed getting to know all of the students at BIS and NW at BIS.I do not expect each student to draw like Leonardo Da Vinci but I expect them to do their best.
