In Kindergarten music we are active, engaged, and excited! We sing, play instruments, listen to music, and move - a lot! Through these activities we are learning to use our bodies to make music. We practice moving our voices, holding and handling instruments, and moving in place or all around the room. Through these activities we are also learning how to talk about music. We compare loud/soft, long/short, high/low, and fast/slow sounds. The most important skill we learn in Kindergarten music is how to work together.
When we all do our part we make beautiful music together!
